Mobility for Information + Documentation professionals
The Swiss Education Delegation Information and Documentation participate indirectly at the "European mobility", Vocational education and training programme. The mobility programme is open to holders of a Federal VET[1] Diploma in information and documentation (Fachfrau/mann Information und Dokumentation EFZ). The project is supported by Movetia.

Hoi zäme, ich bin Melissa Hofstetter und die neue Co-Projektleitung von Mobility I+D. Ich bin Ausbildungsverantwortliche der Universitätsbibliothek Bern und arbeite
im Kundenservice der Teilbibliothek Münstergasse.
Ich freue mich sehr, mich für den Austausch in der I+D-Branche einzusetzen. Das kommt nicht von Ungefähr: Ich habe meine Ausbildung an der UB Bern gemacht und schon
in diesem Rahmen mein Archivpraktikum in der Romandie absolviert. Nach der Ausbildung habe ich ein halbes Jahr in Australien verbracht, wovon ich drei Monate in der University of Technology
Library in Sydney arbeitete. Internationales Networking ist nicht nur spannend, sondern auch sehr hilfreich und förderlich für Innovation in der I+D-Branche. Ich möchte meine eigene Begeisterung
gerne unseren Berufskolleg*innen weitergeben.
Hi there, I’m Melissa Hofstetter, the new co-project manager of mobility I+D. I am the training manager of the University Library of
Bern and work in customer services of the Münstergasse branch library.
I am really looking forward to getting involved in mobility matters. This is not by coincidence: I have completed my training at the UB Bern and in this frame did an archival internship in the
Romandie. After the training I spent six months in Australia, of which I worked three months in the University of Technology Library in Sydney. International networking is not just interesting,
but also very helpful and beneficial for the innovation within the I+D field. I wish to pass on my enthusiasm to our work colleagues.

Bibliothèque Universitaire de Berne et je travaille au service clientèle de la bibliothèque de la Münstergasse.
Je me réjouis vraiment de m'impliquer dans les questions de mobilité. Ce n'est pas un hasard: J'ai terminé ma formation à l'UB de Berne et, dans ce cadre, j'ai effectué un stage d'archiviste en
Romandie. Après ma formation, j'ai passé six mois en Australie, dont trois à la bibliothèque de l'Université de Technologie de Sydney. Les réseaux internationaux ne sont pas seulement
intéressants, ils sont aussi très utiles et bénéfiques pour l'innovation dans le secteur I+D. Je souhaite transmettre mon enthousiasme à nos collègues de travail.

Due to Covid-19 we have decided with a heavy heart to cancel our upcoming stays abroad and not to plan any further stays for the time being.
We hope to resume our activities as soon as possible. If you are interested in a stay, please send us an email and we will contact you as the situation allows us to plan again.
